Born and raised in Alabama, Courteney Cox left college to pursue a modeling career in New York after being signed by prestigious Ford Modeling Agency. Appearing on countless magazine covers, she then made her way to commercials and finally dipped her toes in Hollywood when she was first casted in Bruce Springsteen’s music video for “Dancing in the Dark”. With countless of titles added to her acting belt, such as a reoccurring role in “Family Ties” to starring opposite Jim Carrey in hit family comedy “Ace Ventura: Pet Detective”. However, we will always remember her as the sweet, beautiful but obsessive compulsive Monica Geller on the beloved, hit NBC comedy Friends. Also during her time on Friends, Courteney Cox appeared in the thriller hit trilogy, Scream for which she received praise for her role as Gale Weathers and went on to starring in 3 Scream sequels.
Staying Stunning at 48
These days Courteney is now a mother to beautiful 8 year old girl named Coco and stars in the hit ABC comedy Cougar Town.
